This work takes folk New Year customs as its background, exploring the cultural significance, updated functions, reuse of sustainable materials, and aesthetic trends of the era with regards to props. Combining traditional folk culture with the concept of sustainability, it experiments with the treatment of waste generated during the Spring Festival, transforming it into scene props that conform to historical backgrounds and modern needs. Through these practical props, it conveys the essence of Chinese culture while supporting ecological civilization and sustainable development. This work integrates New Year customs with environmental protection and the revival of traditional culture, achieving a balance between modern and traditional social cultures.
